Hydromol Intensive helps to relieve itching and hydrates the skin by locking in moisture and reducing water loss through the skin’s surface.

It contains 10% urea, a vital component of the skin’s own Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF). Urea is a naturally occurring humectant, attracting water into the skin and hydrating it from the inside.

Hydromol Intensive is used to help relieve the discomfort of clinical dry skin conditions such as; ichthyosis, xerosis, atopic dermatitis, eczema, contact dermatitis, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, keratosis,and pruritus.

Product Features

Product Details

Urea (10% w/w), white soft paraffin, maize starch, isopropyl myristate, glyceryl tribehenate, palmitic acid, sorbitan laurate and polyoxyethylene fatty glyceride.

Hydromol Intensive is for external use only and should only be applied to the skin.

Wash affected areas, rinse off any soap and dry the area, apply a suitable amount to the affected area.

Hydromol Intensive should be used twice daily.
Do not smoke or go near naked flames – risk of severe burns. Fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings etc) that has been in contact with this product burns more easily and is a serious fire hazard. Washing clothing and bedding may reduce product build-up but not totally remove it.

Do not use if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients in Hydromol Intensive. Some ingredients may cause skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis). If your condition worsens or you experience any undesirable effects, stop using Hydromol Intensive and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

If you are using medicines which are also to be applied to the skin you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Hydromol Intensive as it might not be suitable to apply other topical preparations at the same time.

May produce local irritations (including erythema, burning or pruritus) and oedema when applied to sensitive, moist or fissured skin.

Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If accidental ingestion occurs, adverse effects are unlikely to occur.
